The story of Travel centers around an unnamed character that wakes up one morning feeling off. Something is different. As he opens his eyes, he is baffled to find that he is inhabiting his eighteen year-old body. Through the course of the novel, he investigates his predicament, ultimately drawing in his younger brother Joseph, and future girlfriend Leigh, and finds the root of his problems: a mysterious machine found in a hidden subbasement under his home. While he is laser-focused on getting home, a nefarious group has become aware of the machine, and are moving to secure it for their own ends. While the group contemplates how they are going to take control of the machine, a third, unseen force is lurking in the shadows, waiting for the right time to reveal itself. How will the main character get back to his future body? Will the mysterious group succeed in taking control of the machine? Who is the shadowy third party? How did this all happen?
